Matilda's Story...
A sweeter girl you will never meet! Matilda is a happy, playful, mushy, lap dog - full of energy and spirit (she is roughly 10 months old, so that's par for the course!), but is also such a snuggly love-bug! Matilda is great with children, in fact she shares her foster home with a two year old. She would enjoy an active adopter who will take her for outdoor adventures and romping with other dogs. Her current dog friends are two senior dogs. This creative girl can turn anything into a toy or a game, and is so much fun! After playtime, though, she enjoys lounging in her Human's lap, preferably on her back for belly rubs! Matilda also loves car rides and will help you drive if you let her! For more information about Matilda, please email us at info@FORrescue.net and request an application. ** Matilda is currently in a foster home in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Matilda, a Hamburg American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
