My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie is a very special girl. She loves walking and cuddling, and would do well in about any home! She is the perfect size for a child to play with, and she is just amazing with kids! Annie is a young dog. She will need further training but she is a love and is eager to please and food motivated. A little darling!

Here is what else her foster family had to say about Annie:

All my cousins love her. Annie just wants to be a part of a family. She loves to please and just wants to be loved. She will walk by your side, and cuddle up next to your feet. She is one of the sweetest dogs I have fostered. She has such a winning personality! As she does not know any commands and is not crate trained yet. She will need a committed loving owner that is willing to put time and effort in to training her. But you will not be disappointed. With a bit of training she will be the perfect dog for any family.

She is sooo gentle with my two year old cousin, and she is very tolerant of him. Annie is friendly with everyone she meets and always has a wagging tail. I have never seen Annie show any aggression what so ever! She just loves to be with people and kids, and is always gentle. Annie is comfortable with everyone she meets! She always wants to go and say hello. She meets other dogs on walks she wants to go over and see them!

She is not yet crate trained and has had a few accidents so she will need someone that is willing to train her and has the
energy and time to help this special girl. Annie loves going on walks! She is not very fast at walking, so she would make a great companion for a young child. Even though she is not very fast she can walk for a long time. Annie has a moderate level of energy, and is very calm in the house and will just go lay down on something soft, but is always up for a walk.

Annie is not a barker at all! She never barks except when she’s in her crate, but she settles down if you ignore her. Overall Annie seems to be a very healthy girl, with a beautiful coat! Annie is around 1 year old and is a very happy playful little girl! She barely pulls on leash, and is very enjoyable to walk with. She always has a little spring to her step and a
wagging tail.

Annie is very good in the home! She just lays down and chews on her bone. Occasionally she will get something that she shouldn’t, but if you just take it away and give her, her own toy she will learn quickly. She does not counter serf at all! While you’re eating she just sits down and waits for you to finish. We do not have a fenced in backyard so I don’t know how she is off leash but I would be careful letting her off leash in an area that is not fenced in, as she is a beagle mix and follows her nose.

Annie would do well in almost any home, although I would LOVE to see Annie go to a family with kids! She just loves them and is very gentle, and would be perfect for a young child to walk. It would be best if there was someone in the home that would be around most of the day, because Annie is a very special girl that will need lots of love and attention. But overall she is just a top notch dog all around! She is very loving and will like to cuddle up with you, and walk places. She will be your best buddy in no time at all! Annie is such a pleaser and just wants your praise. She will capture your heart for sure.
