Angus's Story...
Hi, my name is Angus but my nickname is Monster! Though I'm named after a big brave steer, I'm really just a gentle little guy, and only about 9 months old!  If you want to call me Monster, that would be great because I think it's a cool name.  I love my foster family so much - they are the best snugglers, and make me feel so safe! They say that I'm a very smart boy because I'm house trained and crate trained!  There are other furry friends here at my foster home - dogs and cats - and I have fun with all of them.  I sure would love to have a Forever Family to call my own, to cuddle with and watch movies together. Please send an email to info@FORrescue.net and request an application so I can come HOME!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angus, a Nashville Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
