My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kirwan and 4 siblings were left at a local vet office by the owner. The vet contacted local rescues and we were the only one to step forward. He was going to euthanize them had we not taken them. Such is life in rural TN where there are NO spay/neuter laws and many unwanted litters. We believe them to be Newfie/Aussie mix pups. They have webbed feet and Kirwan weighs aprx. 30 pounds @ 15wks. They have had 3 puppy shots, bordatella vac , rabies and have been wormed several times. They have been fed high quality puppy food mixed with sweet potatoes! They have not been cat tested and I have no way of testing them. They are not aggressive - just playful so with careful, supervised introduction I wouldn't expect a problem.

The spay/neuter will be left to the adopter and should be done when they reach 6 mo. of age - or whenever your vet suggests. Proof of spay must be provided to our rescue. Kirwan will be transported to the NE via Alpha Dog Transport upon adoption. They charge $125 for their services. They will also hand off all vet records at that time.

Pups this age cannot be left alone for over 3hrs. at a time. This requirement aids in housebreaking and bonding with your dog.

Kirwan is best in a home with no children, and must have a fenced yard. A condo or apartment is not for him!
