Oliver's Story...
Oliver (previously Johnny) came to us from a shelter in Ohio, Oliver was found as a stray after being bitten by another dog. Oliver had a terrible wound on his rear leg but that has healed nicely and you wouldn't even know it happened! Oliver is a very sweet, affectionate boy and does like to cuddle. Oliver came to us with a severe case of crate/kennel anxiety. At this time we have moved Oliver to be Cold Nose Lodge to receive training and hopefully overcome his fear of the crate. Oliver does well with other dogs, cats and children but as a result of his crate anxiety does become very stressed after being crated and so we are working with him on this. Oliver is also deaf, but he does not let that slow him down! Oliver would make a wonderful agility dog and enjoys to run and play. for more information on Oliver email us at nepabullies@gmail.com. For more info on Cold Nose Lodge visit: http://www.coldnoselodge.com/ Adoption application, reference check, home visit and $200 adoption fee required

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver, a WARREN American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in WARREN, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in WARREN.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in WARREN already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a WARREN breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in WARREN paves the way for another one to be saved.
