Mia-Adopted!'s Story...
Please email cron_19@yahoo.com if you would like to know more about Mia or would like to meet her.

A gentleman contacted us and wants us to find a home for his dog. He has fallen on hard times and lives in a basement and doesn't have the money to properly care for Mia. While he doesn't want to let her go, he knows it would be best for her to find a family that can properly feed her, exercise her and take care of her as he is not able to right now. Mia is a very happy, tail wagging, face licking girl. She is just a medium sized dog that weighs about 50 pounds.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia-Adopted!, a Detroit American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Detroit, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
