Thea's Info...

Thea's Story...
Thea is an adorable 4 month old boston terrier/pit mix. She reminds us of a baby piglet. She is short and stout. She is great with kids, cats and other doggies. Her owner brought her into animal control and said "she woke up with her eyes like this" and the animal control explained that dogs have a 3rd eyelid and when it protrudes it's called cherry eye and needs to be removed. The owner left with the dog. The very next day Thea was found wandering in a park by herself:( So she was saved by HART. Her cherry eye surgery is on April 11th and then she will be more perfect than she already is. She is crate and potty trained as well as great on a leash. Her adoption fee of $250 covers her vetting. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed and microchipped. Please send an email to hartplainfield@gmail.com if you would like to meet her. You can complete an adoption application at www.hartofil.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thea, a Plainfield Boston Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Boston Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
