Rex's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Rex's Story...
Rex was found hanging around Pugh Elementary. Even with a badly cut leg, he longingly sought children and adults out alike, looking for someone to pet him. Rex loves to cuddle and play, plus he gets on great with other cats and dogs alike. Rex is always game to play, but he likes to sneak off to a quite place to nap. He's approximately 7-8 months old and is litter trained.

Rex is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. His adoption fee is $85.

Several of our cats can be seen at the following Houston Petsmarts 7 days a week any time the store is open.
Additional cats are available for viewing at Petsmart each weekend from 12-6pm.
Please email to assure the cat you are interested in will be at the weekend event!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a Houston Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
