Rosie's Story...

Rosie is being sponsored by the Fitzharris family of Holland.Thank you so much Fitzharris family!!!

I’m Rosie. I’m in the adult room and I just wanted to point that out. I am only two years old, with shiny black hair and bright emerald eyes. But I keep getting drowned out by all the media attention given to the Brad & Angelina of the adult room. That’s right – Drew and Zelda. I am SO over those two! So, they are cute. So, they cuddle together. Well, I’m here to tell you, I don’t want to cuddle with another cat, I want to cuddle with YOU! So while those two are making headlines, strutting their stuff and displaying far too much PDAs (public displays of affection) for my taste, I could be in your lap, purring away, listening to you on your phone telling everyone about the sleek new model you just brought home! Sooo, why aren’t you here yet? Hurry up!

Rosie was born in 07/2011. She is very friendly and playful. She will run right up to you and demand to be petted and paid attention to. Rosie is a great mix of sweet and spunk.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Byron Center Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Byron Center, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Byron Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Byron Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Byron Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Byron Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
