Max's Story...
Max is a sweet, adorable 2 years old, 10 lb. Terrier / Corgi mix that was found on the streets of L.A. with burn marks from a shock collar. He is now a happy, healthy boy who loves to run, go for walks, play with other dogs and hang out with his people. Max needs to go to a home with another SMALL dog who likes to run and play. No large dogs (he's afraid of big dogs). It may take Max a day or two to warm up to new people but once he does, he will give you his whole heart and soul!
Max is healthy, house trained, neutered, current on all vaccines and microchipped.
Foster / adoption only open to Southern California residents. We do not foster / adopt any of our dogs to households with children under 10 years old.
A foster / adoption application must be filled out PRIOR to anyone meeting any of our dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Van Nuys Australian Terrier/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Terrier/Corgi for sale in Van Nuys, or seeking a Australian Terrier/Corgi dog from a breeder in Van Nuys.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Van Nuys already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Van Nuys breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Terrier/Corgi breeders who help with Australian Terrier/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Van Nuys paves the way for another one to be saved.
