Raphael's Story...
Raphael is a large front declawed tabby with a regal face. He is neutered, up to date with shots, defleaed and dewormed, and microchipped in case he ever gets lost. Raphael requires an adult home with no dogs. He doesn't trust small children and doesn't like to share the attention, but might tolerate another cat. Raphael is about 3 years old and is very affectionate, following you from room to room at times or rubbing your legs while you stand in the kitchen. He is used to being allowed in people's laps and in the bed. He loves to fall asleep with your hand against his head for a pillow. He must have an indoor-only home because he is declawed, but we will consider a home with a privacy fenced yard so he can occasionally go outdoors to play.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raphael, a Bentonville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bentonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bentonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bentonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bentonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bentonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
