Here is what else her foster family had to say about Mya:
Mya is not your average Beagle. She is very obedient and eager to please. She loves to run and play ball and is always up for going for a walk. She is totally house and crate trained however she should continue to be kept in a crate when you are away from the house just until she can be completely trusted in the home. Mya loves to sleep at the end of your bed and enjoys cuddling on the couch with you while you watch tv. She believes she is a lap dog. She does need a secure yard to play in being that she is a Beagle.
Mya is a very social dog. She loves everyone, especially children. She enjoys going for walks and meeting new friends. She is never shy or aggressive with anyone or anything. She meets everyone with a wagging tail. She is curious of other pets but is wonderful with them including birds. In the home she is well behaved and quiet only barking if there is a very good reason. She is still a little underweight but her coat is healthy and shiny.
Mya knows her basic commands such as sit, come, stay. She listens well and is always eager to please. She is great on leash and has very good manners. She would make a wonderful family pet and would do best in a home with a yard to play in and children that would enjoy playing with her. She would be fine as a second dog with another friendly dog that liked to play or, as the only pet.
Mya is just a little sweetheart that loves everyone!
