Frodo's Story...

Hi!  I'm Frodo; yes...like the movie and everyone I meet loves me!  What can I say except I live up to the term 'Superstar!'  I may be 8 years young; but I can still hang with dogs of all sizes while in doggie daycare and love, love, love playing with the other pooches!  My ideal home would be one of older kids, another dog would be a plus and I would love to compliment and complete your healthy and active family.  I don't recommend a household with any cats as I am a Weimy and I do stand alert when I see any small furbearing critter.  If you can fulfill my wish list; request Frodo on your application to meet me in person.  Never know...could be a sweet ending storyline straight out of a movie script! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frodo, a St. Louis Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
