Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Fulton and I am a young and handsome lemon Beagle (with a tiny bit of Basset if you look hard). I do not know what I did to have to change homes, but my foster family has been good to pick up what my owners could sadly no longer provide. I am so happy that I am finally in a home with people and other four-legged friends.
If you have some time, I would love to tell you a few things about me … I am crate trained, house trained, take treats nicely, good with cats and familiar with basic commands. I would do well in a home that is willing to walk me on a regular basis or play with me since I have a fairly high energy level. I keep myself busy for decent parts of the day, but I will also settle down and will sleep on the couch or on a nice soft dog bed. I am a little selective when it comes to choosing my canine friends, for instance, I am not a fan of bigger dogs. If I go to a home with another dog, foster mom recommends a home where the other dog is not on the bold side (just like my foster brother and sister who I a romp around with all the time). You see, I am a confident little guy, and mixing me in with another confident dog would just be clash of egos.
One thing you probably want to know about me … I am an absolute expert when it comes to getting people food (counters or trash) … what can I say, I am a Beagle! My unique efforts to get food have left my foster parents in stitches, because I am that good!
Overall, I have been told that I am a really good boy who is looking for a family who wants an active, fun loving boy! If you are interested, please submit an application for me!
Note from my Foster Family: Fulton can best be described as a “clown” who makes us laugh all the time just being himself. He loves to run and bound around the house, play with toys and play with our dogs. He also loves looking out windows and monitoring the neighborhood, (he can be a little vocal from time to time so it is best he does not go to an apartment). He does need some work walking on a leash, in part, because he is very strong for his little size (approximately 14 inches). So far, he has been an easy foster, and we think he will make a great addition to a home.
