Bacon Bits's Story...
location: Linthicum, MD
Hello! My name is Bacon Bits, and I'm a male Rat Terrier, fostering in Maryland. My fostermom loves my short little legs. You can see more pix of me here. I'm a small boy, weighing only 9 pounds, and I'm only 2 years old. I love other dogs, kids, and people. I love to snuggle and play with my foster family. I'm also house trained and have never had an accident in the house (pretty impressive, right?). My fostermom says I'm a really good boy. I'm just waiting for the love of my life to find me. More photos of Chloe cane be seen here.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bacon Bits, a Glen Burnie Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Glen Burnie, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Glen Burnie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glen Burnie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glen Burnie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glen Burnie paves the way for another one to be saved.
