My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a very happy and sweet little girl thirteen year old, 12 lb, Heidi Sue is. Her tail never seems to stop wagging. Heidi Sue’s human mom died and her human dad was unable to care for her, so we agreed to take Heidi Sue and we are sure glad we did. Heidi Sue is so friendly and happy to greet everyone she meets.

Heidi Sue is living in a foster home with 4 other doxies and she gets along with all of them young and old.

Poor little Heidi Sue arrived to rescue with terrible teeth and she had to have 18 teeth pulled when she had her dental. When we picked her up from the vet’s office after her dental she came out wagging her tail as if nothing had happened. That evening she ate good, was happy and hung out with her foster family in the living room. She isn’t the type of little girl to let having 18 teeth pulled spoil her day.

Heidi Sue is a little hard of hearing but it doesn’t seem to affect her in the least. Heidi Sue is good on a leash and enjoys going on walks. She is a very active 13yr old doxie. She also enjoys lounging with her family. She would enjoy living with a retired couple or a family with teenagers. Do you enjoy RV trips? We think Heidi Sue would enjoy that too.
