My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Doja's loving foster dad shared her story, " This is "Doja", she's a sweet 9-10 year old Golden and Flatcoated Retriever mix. She is an owner surrender from here in Colorado. She is gentle, super-sweet, loving, and fits in seamlessly with my pack. Doja loves affection, especially belly rubs, and she gives little adorable moans when you pet her head.

Doja is happy here, adjusted quickly, and goes along comfortably with anything we do. She loves to go on walks and mild hikes, and is perfect at dog-parks. Great because she has a few pounds to loose for swim suit season. Exercise and great food is all it takes!

Doja is easy to love, affectionate, sweet, gentle, mild mannered, and sociable. So far she doesn't show much interest in toys or dog bones. I am told she is good with kids (in her former home), we don't know about cats, but it's hard to imagine that being a problem. Most of all, Doja has a wonderful personality, and so deserves to be loved, appreciated, and nurtured by her new family."
