Millie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Millie's Story...

Millie is a spayed female Beagle born in 2010.

Millie was rescued by Last Chance Rescue from a high kill shelter just in time, as she was very pregnant. Her pups have all found homes and now it’s little Millie’s turn to find her forever home.

Millie is house-trained, crate-trained, has outstanding manners, walks like a pro on a leash. She has a bubbly personality, loves to play with other dogs, is fine with cats and adores affection from people.

The stress of probably being over bred has caused permanent damage to her bladder. She takes a pill twice daily and it resolves her problem, her medication is inexpensive costing less than $20.00 a month. Millie does require a fenced yard.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie, a Howell Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Howell, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
