My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This big, beautiful chocolate lab was doomed to life as a breeding dog in a puppy mill but lucky for him was released to our rescue due to a small abscess on his cheek. Red was so terrified when he first saw the sky that he had to be carried to our van. Red is quickly figuring out that the world is a wonderful place and has loved learning to play with Hannah our chocolate lab mix. He is still a little worried about new people (who can blame him) but he greets us with typical, waggy tail. lab enthusiasm and is showing his awesome, loving personality. With just a little bit of patience this big boy is going to make a fantastic addition to any family. Red is a just a big, loveable boy and is NOT a hyper lab but has a really nice laid-back, goofy personality. Everybody who meets him falls in love with our big, handsome dued. Whoever adds this extra large bundle of joy to their home is going to get one great dog!

PS - Red wants you to know that he is very good in the house and has not had a single accident in his kennel since he has come to stay with us. He is still learning all about new things like radios (very interesting), pictures (hmmm are those real dogs...I smell them but they just stay still and don't want to play with me), riding in cars (not nearly as bad as I thought...though that ride to visit the vet I am not sure about that at all).
