Ali's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Ali's Story...
SNUGGLE!!! Who likes to snuggle? Mom says there isn't a breed called a "snuggle" mix but I beg to differ. I love walks, jogs, runs and oh yes, belly rubs. I am the best of both worlds... still young enough to love playing but completely housebroken with great manners. My foster mom has taught me the art of fine conversation, and I have learned to speak when spoken to. I also enjoy playing with toys and my foster mom said we should name a new toy after me called “pounce and play”. Be sure to watch my video. Ali needs to be the only pet with a fenced in yard.

Ali's adoption fee is $100, she is up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped and is spayed.

Ali's adoption fee may be waived to a qualified and approved person who can give Ali a wonderful life. The adoption fee is graciously being donated by Fabulous Finds.

Some of our pets are in foster care. If you are interested in a specific pet, please contact the shelter at 618-282-7387 to arrange a meeting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ali, a Columbia Pointer/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Boxer for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Pointer/Boxer dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Boxer breeders who help with Pointer/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
