Zoey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Zoey's Story...
Zoey is a white Dachsund Spaniel mix. She is about 2 years old and weighs 14 pounds. Zoey LOVES people that she knows and trusts, playing with other dogs, playing with toys/retrieving, cuddling and chilling. She is crate trained, great on a leash and does not have separation anxiety.
She is not a fan of being picked up, but she will come to you when she is ready and all warmed up to you. She needs a calm patient person to care for her.

Zoey was rescued from death row at the Camarillo Shelter. She is spayed, up-to-date on all shots and microchipped. Lifetime training will be included with her adoption. If you can give Zoey a wonderful place to live, while she fills a wonderful place in your heart, please call Nathan at 805-452-2817.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Goleta Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Goleta, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Goleta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goleta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goleta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goleta paves the way for another one to be saved.
