My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

With a new baby and another dog to care for, King's owners find that they do not have sufficient time or energy to meet his needs, and would like him to receive more love and attention than they can provide. One-year old, and weighing twenty pounds, King is handsome and regal in stature and, like any sized Italian Greyhound, loves to curl up on his person's lap and cuddle. Although content to snuggle and relax, King also likes to go for walks (needs some loose-leash training), get some daily sprints in, play fetch, and toss his toys around. He is quick to learn new tricks and enjoys showing off his talents! King is housetrained to use dog training pads and is accident-free unless his potty area is obstructed by something; is not crate trained, but is accustomed to staying in a 5' x 3' area when left alone (he has also been fine with free range of the home); and is good in the car. He is great with dogs, interested in cats, and gentle, but clumsy, with babies. Being startled by a loud sound, or a stranger entering the home without greeting him will elicit a bark, but he is not a big barker or yapper. More than anything, King's owners think that he would like to have his own person to bond to. If you are interested in being that person, please contact Italian Greyhound Place.
