Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, new friend - my name is Pippi! I have long red hair and am a spunky, sweet girl, just like my namesake, Pippi Longstocking! I love being petted, snuggling up next to my humans, and going for car rides. OH! And I also love rolling around in the grass on a sunny day - but doesn't everybody? My foster family tells me every day that I'm SUCH a good girl... I think that's because I never have any accidents in the house or my crate, I'm easy to walk on a leash, I come whenever I'm called, and take treats very gently. Those kinds of things seem to make humans very happy, but that's just the kind of girl I am!
For a long time, I was waiting to be rescued from a shelter, and I ended up putting on a few extra pounds. OOPS! I've been working really hard to slim down for my new family, though - avoiding buffets, choosing healthy food, and exercising - and have already lost a few pounds! One of my favorite things is to chase tennis balls and other small toys. I don't always bring them back, though, which makes my foster family laugh! They say I'm definitely not a Retriever. LOL
More than anything in the world, I would love to have a Forever Home of my own. If you'd like to learn more about me, please email info@FORrescue.net and ask for an application today! I'll be waiting!
