My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Karmello is a wheat-colored terrier mix, estimated to be about 6 years old and weighing in at 10 pounds. She's got a shaggy, wirey coat and is likely very low-shed. She is a friendly and sweet girl who was turned in to animal control when her owner became homeless. Karmello is new to Adopt-A-Pet, so stay tuned for more info as we learn more about her.

You can meet Karmello at her new foster home: Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours seven days a week (847-251-6750). Please understand that though you may want to take her home with you at that time, that you will first have to go through the application process.

Karmello's adoption fee of $300 includes: vet exam, heartworm test, DAPP (distemper combo) vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, microchip, deworming, dental cleaning and spay
