My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is a Yorkie who was surrendered to rescue when the owners could no longer financially care for him. Before adopting a dog like a Yorkie you need to be aware that they are high-maintenance dogs. Not only is there the routine vetting, heartworm preventative, flea preventative etc, but he will also need grooming which is an additional expense to plan for. Buddy is a love bug who weighs 12 lbs and will be 5 yrs old at the end of April (born April, 2007). He is a smart little man who knows commands like sit, lay down, roll over and will even play hide & seek. He loves to explore the back yard, chase balls, romp in a kiddy pool and just chill with his momma getting belly rubs. Buddy gets along great with other dogs but even though he's never shown any type of aggression, would do better in a home with no young kids.



This dog has been neutered, received rabies and DHPP vaccinations, de-wormed and tested negative for heartworms.
