Daisy- Adopted's Story...
Daisy is a beautiful little Beagle/Dachshund mix, she's primarily Beagle, but has a little bit longer body, and a skinner face. She weighs about 30 pounds, and is about 5-6 years old.
She is a very well behaved dog, she doesn't get into things like a lot of beagles, she is housetrained, she doesn't dig, and she's not an obsessive barker. She'll let you know when someone's at the door, but that's about the only time she barks.
She came from a shelter is very rural KY, and she has obviously been abused. As a result, she's pretty timid, and loud noises startle her. She is also terrified of thunderstorms, and will curl up in a corner and shake when there is one, but giving her Benadryl really helps with that. She just needs a home that'll give her lots of love.
She loves being outside, especially with you, and would love to have a fenced yard, but would also do well with daily walks.
Because of the abuse, although it has made her aggressive in no way, I don't think she would do well in a home with kids under about 6, they would probably scare her.
She is great with other dogs of all sizes, and I suspect she'll be fine with cats, I can test her with them if needed.
Daisy must be an Indoor or Indoor/Outdoor dog.
Daisy will have a $125 adoption fee, and will come spayed, up to date with shots, dewormed, heartworm tested, and on heartworm prevention.
