Parker's Story...
Age: 1 year

Weight: 4 lbs

Parker is a lover through and through. This girl is looking for people to love and puppies to play with. Parker is friendly with all people, including children. She gets along well with other dogs, and she is a smart girl. She learned how to use the doggie door at her foster home very quickly. Parker had surgery to correct a luxating patella, and you wouldn’t know that her knee ever bothered her. She’s an active gal, that while she is an adult, does still have puppy energy. Parker will quickly calm down to snuggle in your arms or on your lap however.

Adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Parker, a Austin Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Austin, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
