Hi all, I am Ara, the proud mother to the 2 beautiful Star puppies. What a journey I have had to get to Pittsburgh. I was rescued from a shelter in Ohio, spent the first 6 weeks in a foster home having my babies, and then we were on the move again. This time we were flown like movie stars. The girls and I were afraid but it was a great flight. Since then I am enjoying the life of a beloved pet. No more mommy duties for this gal. I sleep all night in my own crate and can work on getting my figure back. I like to be outside and explore the yard. I take walks and enjoy the peace and quiet. My foster family said I was a great mother and need to let the pups find their forever home.
I am a petite girl, weighing in at about 20 lbs. I have a soft quiet voice and don’t use it very often. I love to cuddle and get petted. I can be shy and timid but am not fearful, I just need time to get to know my surroundings. I have been through so much; it can be hard to adjust to new places. I get along with other dogs and really prefer to be with people. I have not been around any very young children but have met older kids and I liked them. I have a playful side too, I have been known to chase a ball or gather up some of the puppies toys. I like the squeaky things! One thing that I want to mention is that I have an odd tail. Foster mom thinks it was just the way I was born. It is very short and does not wag. It just adds to my cuteness.
