My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosy is a three year old Bassador - she's almost perfectly 50% basset and 50% lab! Her body is definitely basset, and her head and tail are the labrador parts, her coat is a very unusual peach and white color. Rosy came to us because her owner became too ill to care for her. Rosy came to live in a foster home with 6 basset boys and settled in very quickly.

Rosy gets along great with other dogs at home and at the dog park, but like any sensible dog, she would probably prefer a forever home with less hounds! Rosy not only rides well in the car - she can even jump into the back all by herself, unlike her basset friends. She needs some work walking on a leash, she's so excited that she pulls quite a bit.

Rosy has a delightful personality, she's intelligent, fun-loving and sweet, she has been around children and did very well, and she would be a great family dog.
