Boss's Story...
Meet Boss. This precious boy is about 1 -2 years old and is a Shepherd mix. This sweet boy loves his people and thinks he’s a lap dog – though he is a solid 60 lb boy. Boss is housetrained and eager to learn. He would do great with a family who plans to spend lots of time with him and take him on fun outings, like walks, runs or hikes. He gets along great with other dogs and he loves to cuddle with his foster family. His foster mom says is a love sponge - he just soaks in everything you'll give him. He loves playing with his human foster brother and sister and is great with them. He loves to play fetch too! Boss is neutered, up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in giving Boss his FORever home, please email us at info@FORrescue.net for an application today! ** Boss is being fostered near Huntsville, AL **

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boss, a Norwich Shepherd (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Norwich, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Norwich.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwich already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwich breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwich paves the way for another one to be saved.
