Boscoe's Story...
When I first met Boscoe I was not expecting him to be so playful, as he is very submissive in his nature. It is not as if he is scared of you, but rather that he knows you are above him and that he has no desire to fight your position of dominance. When I first met him he barely stood up, crouching as low to the ground as possible, and keeping as close to your body as possible. It's almost as if he's trying to heard you sometimes. However, once he got outside and into the sun, he perked up easily and was running around after toys in no time. Boscoe is very friendly and happy, though he's intimidated easily and really just needs someone who will love him gently.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boscoe, a Philadelphia Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Kelpie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Kelpie for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Kelpie dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Kelpie breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Kelpie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
