Jessie's Story...
Jessie here. I'm hoping you will help me find a forever home. I'm about 6 years old, black/tan female with natural ears and a docked tail. I'm as sweet as can be, a little shy when I first meet you but good with other dogs and ignored the cats I met. I'm not really sure how I ended up here. I was an owner surrender to a shelter. My family did not give a reason. I was fed, and my coat is shiny and healthy so there wasn't abuse or neglect. Maybe they had to move and couldn't take me with them? Oh, I know, maybe they lost their jobs and couldn't afford to keep me. I don't understand why I ended up in a shelter when they could have contacted people like this rescue and found me a home on their own? I just don't understand but I guess that doesn't matter. I'm in a comfortable place in this kennel, it's not a home, but it's safe at least. I hope you can help me and soon because I would really rather have a nice dog bed to lie on in a home with people rather than in this kennel with these other dober kids waiting for some nice people like yourself to come along. Hope I get to meet you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
