Reno's Story...
Reno and his 7 littermates recently arrived into rescue ~ They were said to be a collie mix but I don't see it at all ~ They clearly have different fathers as some have some pretty short legs! ~ Maybe some Retriever, Spaniel, or Setter? ~ We will never know for sure and can definitely not predict their full grown size since they are all so different ~ One thing we do know is they are all absolutely adorable and a very friendly group of fur balls! ~ They are in foster care with dogs, cats, and kids and doing very well ~ They are about 10-11 weeks old ~ up to date with vaccinations ~ already microchipped, and ready to find loving forever homes of their own * Reno weighs 13lbs 2ozs*

~~~Please email rescue-me@earthlink.net to have application mailed to you to submit for possible approval ~~~
Puppies require a lot of time for housebreaking, training, and proper socialization ~ It is in the puppies best interest that they be adopted to families where someone will be home most of the day ~ Thank you for your understanding!!
Why Adoption is a Great Option
Reno, a Milford Retriever (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Milford, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Milford.
  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
