Trudy-URGENT!!'s Story...
AVAILABLE NOW!!

Trudy is such a SWEET little lady! She was brought into the shelter as a stray and was thought to have been hit by a car but she is alive and healthy and waiting for a new home!! This little girl is VERY sweet, laid back, and just wants to please. Trudy is approximately 3years old and weighs approximately 25 lbs! Her adoption fee is $100 which includes a $50 refundable spay deposit!!

99% of the dogs that arrive at the shelter come in as strays. We do not know their history as far as if they are good with kids, cats, and other dogs. We can only advise by what we observe while the dogs are being housed at the shelter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trudy-URGENT!!, a Lapeer Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Lapeer, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Lapeer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lapeer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lapeer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lapeer paves the way for another one to be saved.
