Faye is a small female Spaniel/Shih Tzu mix approximately 2 years old. This tiny little 8 pound girl was rescued from the shelter after she was brought in apparently attacked by another dog. Faye lost one of her eyes and had to have stitches put in her shoulder. Faye is a courageous young dog, but has obviously been traumatized by her ordeal. She is now fully recovered in a foster home and is slowly learning to trust and be confident again. Faye loves to be held, comforted and cuddled. She will curl up in your arms for hours. She gets scared out and about and on walks. For right now, Faye prefers being carried close to your side. She enjoys sunning herself in the backyard and is comfortable with other dogs her size. She is great with cats. Faye has started to wag her tail when she sees us and loves to be talked to. She is very quiet inside the home and is never a problem. Her indoor manners are excellent. Faye currently has a summer cut because her fur was quite matted and unkempt when she arrived at the shelter. It should grow out into silky soft black and white waves that are very low to non-shedding. Faye is a special dog in our rescue and deserves a special forever home. She will occupy a very unique and tender place in the heart of her new owner and promises to be highly loyal to the person who earns her trust.
Faye's adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Faye is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Phyllis & Richard and is ready for her forever home.
