Bella's Story...
Disposition: Cautious but sweet

Bella really, really, really loves getting attention, but the conditions have to be just right. She can be cautious about her surroundings so we are seeking a loving home with a low activity level -- in other words: not a lot of children and strangers coming and going.

This lady is quite the beauty with her rich and bold Tortie colors and golden-green eyes. She has a little habit of chirping when she is especially thrilled to have company. She does quite a bit of rubbing and purring when happy.

Bella needs a really great family to adore her. She is going to return that affection the instant she knows she is loved and safe. Also, she needs to be the only kitty. She's selfish about having her humans all to herself.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a The Colony Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in The Colony, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in The Colony.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in The Colony already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a The Colony breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in The Colony paves the way for another one to be saved.
