Haymitch's Story...
Meet Haymitch Pup! One of the Hunger Games Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees pups. The family that has mom decided to keep two to help on the farm but Peeta and Haymitch showed more of the golden side and chased and killed the chickens on their farm. Haymitch is almost 12 weeks old and already 28 pounds, so he will be large boy. Haymitch is very sweet, very calm for a puppy and very, very lovable. Haymitch needs a stay at home or work at home parent and another dog in the house would be preferable. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Haymitch, a Roanoke Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Roanoke, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Roanoke.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roanoke already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roanoke breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roanoke paves the way for another one to be saved.
