HUNTER's Story...
Houston, TX: DARLING BEAGLE NEEDS LOVING FOREVER HOME. Hunter is a darling, mellow blonde 8-year old Beagle looking for a new loving home. His current owners have not been able to spend enough time at home with him and feel he deserves more attention. At 27 lbs, Hunter has a clean bill of health, is up-to-date on all vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative. This sweet beagle is housebroken and crate-trained. He needs to continue to be a house dog and have access to a fenced in backyard where he can romp around freely, possibly with another canine companion. Hunter loves company and is good with children and cats. Strangely enough for a Beagle, this adorable AKC boy is not a barker and prefers to lavish you with love than howl! He is looking forward to cuddling next to you but also going on walks and taking part in other activities that will stimulate him mentally and physically. If you feel you can provide Hunter with a loving forever home that will include him in the family’s daily routine, please call or text Maya directly at (832) 419-3606 or via email at mayita8@sbcglobal.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HUNTER, a Houston Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Houston, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
