Judy's Story...
Meet Judy the cutie! This affectionate and curious girl loves being petted and getting tummy rubs, and she has an adorable little chirpy meow! She loves to snuggle and would definitely enjoy a person who would let her sleep with him/her at night!

Judy is healthy, although she has had dental problems in the past and has had a number of tooth extractions. However, this has not affected her eating or her appetitie one bit, and she enjoys both dry and canned food. In fact, she likes food a little too much, and is working on losing weight to ensure she will stay healthy.

Judy was born in June, 2005. She had a home previously, but her people gave her up. She tested negative for FIV and FeLV, has been spayed, microchipped, and is current on vaccinations. She is ready to go to a loving home that will be committed to her for life. Although she tolerates other cats (and would probably be okay with a quiet, mellow dog), she'd just as soon be an only cat, so she can get all the attention!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Judy, a AUSTIN Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in AUSTIN, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in AUSTIN.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in AUSTIN already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a AUSTIN breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in AUSTIN paves the way for another one to be saved.
