Ann Marie is a sweet little toy poodle with a gentle manner and a forgiving heart, considering how poorly she was treated before she found her way to the shelter. With proper nutrition and medical care, Ann Marie's body is slowly recovering; however, her spirits have never flagged. From the beginning, she has been good-natured and affectionate, crawling into your lap, and making herself into the tiniest ball of coal grey fluffy fur. And now that she feels cared for, Ann Marie has become more animated and playful, and truly seems to enjoy her walks outside. She shows interest in other dogs, and loves running around in the grass. However, her favorite place still seems to be that lap, whether you are sitting with her in her kennel, or sitting with her on a bench outside. This adorable girl needs a forever home where she will be treated with kindness and gentleness, and will never again be taken for granted.
