Zak's Story...
Hey there, Zak here,

I am the only oddball of the bunch. All my siblings are black and black and white, but I decided to be different! I am a 8 1/2 - 9 week old neutered boy who is very friendly. I have VERY soft fur and am just so cute. I love to play chase and wrestle with my siblings. I really want a home with one of my buddies or a home where I can have another kitty to play with. I love other cats and am getting use to the large dogs at my foster home. I'm just a little guy and they are SO big to me! Oh well. I love to have fun and then when I wear myself out I will sleep for hours. Usually propped up on one of my siblings. Two is always more fun than one and keeps us out of trouble! (kr)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zak, a Sacramento Russian Blue kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Russian Blue kitten from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
