My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rojo is a sweet hound mix who is approximately 6 months old. He was found in the backyard of a good Samaratins house. He was then brought to our vet with a broken right front leg. The bone was protruding thru the skin and there was a massive infected wound. X-rays were taken and it was decided that the leg should be removed. Through it all, Rojo has remained a sweetheart who loves to give kisses. Rojo needs time to get accustom to other dogs. He had to fight to stay alive, so he is untrusting of new dogs. He is fine with cats. Since Rojo was also very thin when he was found, he is possessive of his food. With time and patience he could be trained to realize that he does not have to do that. Or he can be fed seperately from other animals. Rojo is doing well after his surgery and is a real trooper. Rojo is on heartworm preventative and is current on his vaccinations and rabies. He will be neutered soon. His adoption fee is $150.00 which only scratches the surface of his vet bill. Please call or email us if you are interested in meeting Rojo.
