My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Honey came to us from some people that could no longer keep her. We usually do not take in cats from the public as our main focus is TNR and pulling friendly's or kittens from the colonies.
Sense our shelter had room at the time we agreed to take Honey.
Honey misses the lady who raised her and it took her a bit to warm up to us. It did not help that she was in full heat and raging hormones at the time we took her in.
She has been vetted and she is adjusting to shelter life at this time, once she trust you she is sweet as can be, but her new family, should you adopt her will need to gain this kids trust. We think there might have been some abuse to her, but we can not prove that.
So if you have the patience to let Honey come to you on her terms she will make you a wonderful cat. She is a small cat, and very beautiful. Loves to play and chase balls.
Please consider her, and show her not all people are bad.
At this time she is not a PetSmart, she is at our shelter, so if you are interested please call the numbers below for more information on Honey.

You can visit me 7 days a week at PetSmart in Bethlehem / Winder, Georgia.
We are over in the cat section of the store, just look for me in my pretty hammack.
You can also call Altered Feral State if you want more information on me, just ask for
Stacie (678)725-7840
or
Jill (770)876-0659
And of course all the nice people at PetSmart will be glad to help you adopt me here at the store.

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
