Boo is an American Pit Bull Terrier/American Bulldog mix. She’s about 6 months old and currently weighs about 45 lbs (as of mid-May). We estimate that she may weigh anywhere from 55-70lbs when full grown. She is housebroken, crate-trained, up-to-date on her shots, and is scheduled to be spayed soon. She is a fun-loving, cuddly girl who really enjoys hanging out with her family and getting lots of belly rubs. Her favorite evening would probably involve quietly lounging on the couch in someone’s lap while working on a delicious chewie. She also enjoys an occasional game of fetch and neighborhood strolls.
Boo loves all people and dogs. She goes to doggie daycare 3 times a week where she gets to meet new dogs of all breeds and sizes all the time. Her favorite thing to do at daycare is find the other laid-back dogs and roll around in the mud with them. She especially loves children, whose faces are closer to the ground and much easier to reach for maximum kissing coverage! She likes to chase birds and squirrels, but she has not yet interacted with any cats. Since she is so laid back, we think she could learn to like cats just fine when introduced properly.
Boo has her Puppy Star certification, which is the puppy version of the Canine Good Citizen award. She knows sit, down, stay, roll-over, gives high-fives, and walks well on a leash. She knows to come when you call her name, but will come a lot faster when there are cookies involved!
She is currently in a foster home with her biological sister and a big foster brother, who she likes to chew on. She would really enjoy a home with other dogs to play with, but would also be great as an only dog who gets to soak up all the attention of her people.
