Punkin's Info...

Punkin's Story...
Punkin is the little girl of the twosome running through the field when the animal control warden drove by. She picked them up so they wouldn't get run over and now they are sharing the same kennel. Punkin is not as bonded to Duncan as he is to her, but she does love him, so if you have a big place in your heart and family for both of these that would be awesome, but if you would only like one of them, we can do that as well. Punkin is probably around 2-3 years old. She will be spayed, up to date on shots, and heart worm tested upon completion of adoption. She walks very well on her leash also and would also love to be cuddled. If you would like a chance to meet Punkin, please contact either Melodie at 217-822-3980 or Linda at 217-466-1062 and please leave a message with your name and phone number and we can return the call as soon as we get it.

Act quickly to adopt Punkin. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Punkin, a Paris Dachshund/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Beagle for sale in Paris, or seeking a Dachshund/Beagle dog from a breeder in Paris.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Paris already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Paris breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Beagle breeders who help with Dachshund/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Paris paves the way for another one to be saved.
