My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clover is a 6-month-old little black labby mix. She is currently about 14 inches tall at her shoulder and weighs approximately 17 pounds. Literature would suggest that Clover’s adult sizing could be approximately 16 to 17 inches tall at the shoulder and a weight of around 35 to 45 pounds. Clover’s coat is short hair with minimal shedding. She is black with 2 white spots on her chest and a cute faint white spot on her chin. She is very calm for a puppy. She loves to play with the other dogs and gets along well with children of all ages as well as the kitties. Her foster mom describes her as being very sweet natured with a very loving personality. Clover is crate trained and has very good house manners. Her foster mom also reports that Clover is perfecting her house training and is progressing quite well. Clover is very treat driven, and she loves to please her people. So, this smart little girl will be very easy to train to be an all-star. She has already learned to walk gently on a leash. One of her favorite activities when she is outside in the backyard is to run really fast in a big circle then race by her big foster bro, jump on him and then take off running in circles again. She enjoys games of tug of war as well as just resting at your feet. How this sweet little girl found herself in a high kill shelter is unclear but she won the hearts of Lucky Lab rescuers and she is now looking for a loving home to call her very own. Clover is up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and on heartworm and flea preventatives. If you think that you are the perfect family for this little girl, please complete an online application and note Clover in the comment field.
