MISTY's Story...
MISTY
1 yr old Wire-hair Terrier 35 lbs
Misty is super friendly with people in general as well as being cat/kid friendly. She's not aggressive at all with other dogs and tends to be on the submissive side. She is a great playmate and would be ideal if she goes to a home with another young high energy friend, they will burn each other's energy. She needs regular exercise; if she's left unfulfilled in this regard she can and will become very mischivious. She's a sweet heart who is good with strangers and only barks when playing out of excitement. Definitely needs a yard and regular exercise though...this is super important.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MISTY, a El Cajon Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Wirehaired) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
