My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you the type of person who has a knack for training dogs? Do you enjoy seeing a dog's behavior transform? If so, then you should read the note below from our boy Dakota. He is a good dog that was allowed to get away with some bad manners and now he needs you and your experience.

Hi! My name is Dakota! I am a big, strong, clown who loves attention. I enjoy being outside and would thrive with someone who has a setup that I could spend my time outdoors with the possibility of coming inside on those cold and damp days. My previous owner kept me outdoors and I have found this is where I am happiest. I need a fenced in yard too.

I am very affectionate and absolutely love to play, especially with my kong. I do have bilateral hip dysplasia that is being treated with medications and supplements. This doesn't slow me down however, I can keep up with the best of them! I am quite handsome and I like to talk, especially when I want something. I will do best with someone who can spend time with me and continue my positive reinforcement training which will be a requirement with my adoption.

Hope to meet you soon!
