Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Spalding! My foster mom calls me SPAWdy for short. Don’t know about my past but I do know it must not have been too good because I am a heartworm positive beagleL Now don’t get too upset because I am a 1 or 2 level which isn’t too bad and I am going through treatment to get well. Foster mom said the other day that I am tolerating everything very well and I have been a good boy. The great news is I can be adopted while going through treatment!! Woo hoo, I can go to my furever home! What is important to remember is to give me a Heartgard heartworm preventative every 4 weeks for the rest of my life. This really isn’t a big deal because all dogs should be on a monthly heartworm treatment.
Anyhow, let me tell you a bit about me. I am a short stocky 3 year old male beagle weighing in at around 24.5 pounds. My foster mom said I am built like a linebacker, skinny waste and a stocky upper body. Cuddly, love to get hugs and love, sweet, cute, sleep all night long, crate trained, good in a car, scratch at the back door when I want in, ok with cats, likes other dogs, beta kind of a beagle. Foster mom said I am doing well on my housetraining and thinks anytime we will be adding the “housetrained” icon onto my bio.
I live with a blind kitty with high blood pressure who rules the house so I don’t mess with her at all. There are two other beagles living here and I want to be there buddy and I think the alpha female likes me because she was on the couch near me the other day. But the “want to be” alpha male isn’t too happy with me because foster mom and dad give me some attention. That’s ok, I like him and I just keep trying to be his friend.
So, that is my story, what’s yours? Looking for a sweet, cute, cuddly beagle boy? Complete an application and list me as who you would like to adopt!
