Surviving his early years on the run as a feral dog, Nook has finally started to respond positively to human attention. He has been a Houlagan for a long time, and it is gratifying to see him start to trust. He still has a ways to go, but he is a strikingly beautiful animal with a lot of soul. He might be the one for you.

About Our Rescue Group...
Many dogs have come through and found their special place and people, but many have not. It is the mission of Houlagans' Rest to be the rescue of last resort. We save and prepare for adoption dogs that have been rejected by others and are scheduled to be euthanized. This website is dedicated to help those dogs find their "forever homes".
